School of Civil Aviation

The School of Civil Aviation (SPOA) was established in 1970 and its mission is:
To provide basic theoretical and practical training
a) on matters of civil aviation in general to HASP personnel, and
b) to aviation security personnel against unlawful acts.
It is also responsible for supervising the practical training of university and technical school students within the service.
Additionally, it issues certifications to fire truck drivers, as well as to personnel providing security services in the police, courthouses, correctional facilities, etc.
